Not even close. There are stocks selling for less than half this price that will easily earn twice as much per share. You buy your stocks like you buy your groceries, not like you play fantasy football.

so what have we learned ? A: that price targets are sometimes just a manipulative tool. Earning are only one of two shoes to drop and ultimately Guidance trumps PT.

Apple, Google, and (other will follow) just asked their employees to return to office at regular basis.
Schools in a few states will not be closed even if COVID cases occur. It only requires student to stay home when infected..

Zoom shares currently trade at just 10 times sales, a perfectly priced opportunity for a company posting growth in excess of 50% YoY. For investors seeking long term growth, this is the perfect value pick, with $5.4 billion in cash, just $100 million in debt, and $1.8 billion in free cash flows. They are also announced a repurchase of $1 BILLION of shares. Guidance was conservative and that is the only reason the stock is trading lower.

@hodl The only way anybody will make a 100% profit on ZM going forward is buying it at 20 and selling it at 40.

@Nathan it is clear that the revenue slow down was because of people who did a short term purchase of zoom. I expect after 2 more quarters only long term users of Zoom will remain, then they will accelerated the growth.
You can either wait and hope that you can purchase shares for 10% cheap, or just buy in a hold for a couple of years to realise 100% profit.

Zoom has QoQ flat revenues. Why do people just dismiss this? It will go lower, probably under $100, as it's perceived as a covid play to most of wall street.

I think ZM will surprise street not just past Q but revise upwards next Q and yearly projections: I expect stock price up at least 10% (if no general market meltdown due to War)

@Also_Nathan Thanks Nathan! Market volatility w war is also a major negative so it’s an uphill battle, at this point, hoping Ms wood is correct that ZM has long ways to go! I’m losing in ARKK also but she made me a ton of $$ in Tesla & Bitcoin so not all bad.. Just sit tight & hope ZM is close to bottom than beginning of yet another major slide..

Its at 30 fPE. So the market still has some faith in growth but not like back in 2020/21. At 30 PE a fair growth rate would be around 25% yoy, give or take. Or it could be a little less if they showcase some new streams and have some interesting forward estimates.
I do believe that people greatly under estimate the work from home movement especially in tech. It will just keep growing. I know some folks like going back to the office but in general, the cost saving of wfh is just too good for corporations and most workers love it as well. Id say only about 20% or so actually want to go back. Maybe a little more might favor a hybrid system.

@icahn you call people idiots and then say that it's priced in. Classic projection here. Every time I see "it's priced in" tells me that person doesn't know what he or she is talking about and it's all about sunshine and rainbows. it's not adjusted, because if it were the price would be around pre-covid levels, which it's still go a way to go. It's not idiots who keep parroting this, it's actual investors who see that this stock isn't going to age well for those holding bags above $150.

Idiots keep parroting this: "every ER this year will be compared to their covid ERs". They don't know the covid thing is well known and market has adjusted due to this fact. The question is if the market has overdone it or underdone it. It is a matter of personal opinion.

Hi Sai. Even if they beat ER estimates it will go down. Their best quarter in the past two years saw a drop the next day. Unfortunately the growth train has stopped in my opinion. I keep saying this but every ER this year will be compared to their covid ERs. It’s flat or a slight uptick in revenues but that’s it. Down to under $100 in my opinion.
